The Little Egg Harbor School District is seeking proposals for a Solar Energy Project. The solar provider is required to perform according to the Solar Energy Project Overview specifications on the district's website. Minimum requirements include at least five years of experience in solar energy projects, experience working with public school districts in New Jersey, proper state licensing, three or more licensed professionals focused on public entities, and compliance with NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and NJAC 17:27 if awarded the contract. Bidders must submit a simple and straightforward proposal package, including a detailed list and explanation of all services to be rendered, evidence of similar services provided to other public/private schools in New Jersey, evidence of innovation or successful approaches, and a full description of the business organization with contact information, organizational chart, key staff resumes, and other relevant information. Required documentation includes three letters of recommendation from New Jersey schools, evidence of providing specified services, professional licenses, a list of recent judgments or bankruptcies, and information about personnel, facilities, and resources. Respondents must have strong communications and technology skills and personal and professional integrity. The proposal should include the contributions outlined in the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Proposals will be evaluated based on management criteria, technical criteria, and cost criteria, with a total of 100 possible points. Additional required documents include ownership disclosure, non-collusion affidavit, political contribution disclosure, contractor questionnaire, affirmative action documents, business registration, employee information report, disclosure of investment activities in Iran, and a non-debarment certification. One original and two copies of the proposal must be provided. The Board of Education reserves the right to interview any or all applicants and to request clarifying information. The contract term is 15 years.
