Cumberland County is seeking eligible residential construction contractors, specifically those who are licensed and certified general contractors in Tennessee, to participate in the 2024 THDA HOME Grant Program. The work includes the demolition and reconstruction of two owner-occupied homes, and the rehabilitation of one owner-occupied home, all located in Cumberland County, TN. Bids must comply with the Housing Reconstruction Bid Packet and Instructions to Bidders. Contractors must be qualified for the specific type of construction they are bidding on and must adhere to timelines set by the Grant Administrator, UCDD. All work must follow ICC Codes and inspection guidelines outlined in the bid packet. Contractors should clearly mark sealed bid envelopes with “ATTN: Cumberland County HOME Program.” Minority-owned and female-owned businesses are strongly encouraged to participate.
