The contract is for the supply of all labour, equipment and materials required to complete milling of the existing road surface 60mm, export milled material to a Municipal location at the direction of the Manager of Public Works or their delegate or to an acceptable site at the contractor's expense as identified in Schedule A. Work includes pulverizing, hauling, grading, and compacting granular “A” OPSS 1010 material as identified in Schedules B and E. A double lift of surface treatment must be applied as identified in Schedules A, B, and E. All schedules A through E specify processes for each road section, and road sections are identified in the Map of Road Sections. The contractor is also responsible for completing all necessary utility locates before starting work. All work must meet the approval of the Manager of Public Works, or their designate, and comply with current surface treatment application standards and any applicable OPS Standards. The Municipality may adjust the specified quantities in the tender by up to 25% without penalties to unit prices, subject to budget constraints and Council approval.
