Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Frisco, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project includes approximately 5,000 SY of 6” concrete pavement and 3,125 SF of 5' concrete sidewalk. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee the successful bidder will enter into the contract and execute the bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the contractor is notified. Copies of the bidding documents may be purchased at the office of the Engineer for $100, or downloaded for free by contacting the Engineer. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. The Owner may accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the District based on unit prices, alternates, time of completion, and financial standings. No bid may be withdrawn until 120 days after bids are opened. The awarded contractor must provide a notarized original of a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) and a Verification of Compliance with Government Code Chapters 2252 and 2270. Failure to comply will prevent contract execution. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply and the contract can be terminated if these are not met.
