Professional engineering services are required on a continuing basis for the District's stormwater systems and other public improvements authorized by Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. The selected engineering firm will act in the general capacity of District Engineer and provide District engineering services as required. Applicants must hold applicable federal, state, and local licenses, be authorized to do business in Florida, and furnish a statement of qualifications and past experience on U.S. General Services Administration Standard Form No. 330, with supporting data. Information must be provided on personnel, minority business certification, ability to meet time and budget requirements, past experience and performance (including with community development districts and Manatee County), office locations, workload, and volume of work previously awarded by the District. Applicants must also designate the individual who would handle District meetings, construction services, and other engineering tasks. All applicants must submit electronic copies of Standard Form No. 330 and the Qualification Statement. The District will review all applicants according to CCNA and specific evaluation criteria. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Qualification Statements and is not obligated to reimburse any expenses for the preparation or submittal of Qualification Statements. Any protest related to the notice or evaluation criteria must be filed in writing within the specified timeframes, and a protest bond of $20,000 is required.
