Franklin County invites qualified, experienced contractors to submit sealed Bids for Blasting and/or Drilling on the Pigeon Road Mine. It is highly recommended that the Bidder perform a site visit to fully understand the scope and nature of the project and be knowledgeable of site conditions prior to submitting a bid. Contractors are required to read the attached specifications and general conditions, complete all necessary forms, and submit bids in sealed envelopes as instructed. Electronic bid submissions will not be accepted. Specifications include a prepared Preliminary Blasting Plan and Pre-Blast Design and Vibration Analysis. Women and minority owned businesses are encouraged to submit a bid.
