New construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Auburn Univ, Alabama. Completed plans call for the addition of a 300,000-square-foot, seven-story above grade stadium; one-story above grade stadium; retail development; conference / convention center; and stadium.
The project includes a new Multi-Use Facility at the north-end of Jordan-Hare Stadium. The proposed 7-level addition will include approximately 300,000 square feet of new building constructed around the recently completed north videoboard structure. Select renovation throughout the north-end area, as well as single-story construction below the bleachers will be required. The balance of the project will include premium seating areas, kitchens, concessions and stadium support facilities, along with conference/event spaces, retail venues, student activity spaces, and meeting rooms. The new building program will support Auburn University students, faculty and non-university public gatherings and services, including football games and other large gathering events.
