Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Andalusia, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a 8,809-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed proposals are invited for the construction of a new storm shelter at Florala High School for the Covington County Board of Education. Bidders must have general liability and workman's compensation insurance, and the project must be bid excluding taxes. Bids are to be submitted on forms provided by the Architect. A certified check or bid bond of at least five percent (5%) of the bid amount (not to exceed $10,000) must accompany each proposal. Successful bidders will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds. Bidders must be licensed as required by Alabama law and display their license number on the bid envelope. Project documents can be accessed online, and only documents published through the specified procedure are endorsed. Any RFIs and RFAs must be sent using forms from the project manual. Supervision of all work is the contractor's responsibility. Completion time and detailed scope of work are referenced in the project manual.
