The project involves the removal of the existing asphalt parking lot, unsuitable subgrade repair, construction of a new concrete parking lot, concrete pavement, curbing, and sidewalks including detectable warning devices, pavement markings, fine grading with premium sifted topsoil in preparation for seeding, and other incidental items as shown in the plans, stipulated in the plan notes, or as directed by the project coordinator. The parking lot shall be closed for a maximum of 10 business days. Work must be completed no later than October 15, 2026. Each bidder is required to file a bid guaranty with the bid in the form of either a Bid/Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid; or a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit equal to 10% of the amount bid, conditioned upon executing a contract in conformity with the bid, plans, details, specifications, and bills of material. Contractors and Subcontractors must comply with prevailing wage rates requirements detailed in the Bid Documents. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
