Remodeling of a transportation facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for the remodel of a transportation facility.
The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority is soliciting qualifications from professional visual artists or teams to design, fabricate, and install three-dimensional wall- or ceiling-hung art inside the terminal in the 'meeter greeter' space near baggage claim and the welcome center. The artwork should enhance the space by creating a welcoming and visually engaging piece that reflects Fort Wayne's rich aviation history, celebrates the community's connection to aviation, and supports a first-class customer experience while providing an accessible and inclusive environment for all passengers. Sealed artist statements of qualifications must be submitted by mail or hand delivery in a marked envelope. All questions must be submitted in writing by email. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, waive irregularities or formalities, and make an award in its best interest. Compliance with various federal nondiscrimination and civil rights laws is required.
