Description

Site work for a municipal facility in Texarkana, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

Furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the installation of an emergency natural gas generator and associated appurtenances at City Hall. Bidders must inspect the site, inform themselves of all local conditions, and complete the project within 180 calendar days, including weekends and legal holidays. Each bid must include a certified or cashier’s check, or an acceptable bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid. Successful bidders are required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in Arkansas. Bidders are expected to have an Arkansas State Contractor’s License, with evidence of licensure to be provided prior to award. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Withdrawal of bids is not allowed for at least 60 calendar days after the scheduled closing time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award the contract in the Owner's best interest. Subcontractors must be acceptable to the Owner. The contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, and other federal laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, the Work Hours Act of 1962, and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
