The work consists of approximately 320 linear feet of new 12-inch storm pipe and slotted drains system, along with 4 new catch basins, associated new curb/gutter, and valley gutter concrete flat work. To view the solicitation, access plans and specifications, and submit a bid response, registration in the City’s bidding portal is required. Solicitation documents will not be mailed, emailed, or provided in person. Once registered, bidders are added to the solicitation distribution list for changes or additions via Addenda. Questions from bidders should be posted on the bidding portal under the “Clarifications” tab for the project number. An electronic copy of the bid bond from a surety company licensed in Texas or a certified cashier’s check for not less than five percent (5%) of the total proposal price must be submitted as a guaranty. Electronic copies for bid bonds must include a bond number; cashier’s checks must include a check number with a date on or before the bid opening date. The original bid bond or cashier’s check must be submitted within one business day to the Purchasing and Contracting Department. The City reserves the right to refuse or reject any or all bids, to waive any formalities or technicalities, or to accept the bid considered the best value and to hold bids for sixty days without action.
