The project involves the remodel of the Northwest Fixed Base Operator and Terminal building for the City of Sand Springs. Bids are to be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum basis, with deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The project is partially funded under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP), and contractors must comply with specific federal requirements as listed and contained in the contract documents, such as Buy American Preference, Civil Rights - Title VI Assurances, Davis-Bacon Requirements, Debarment and Suspension, Lobbying and Influencing Federal Employees, Procurement of Recovered Materials, Prohibition of Covered Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, and Trade Restriction Certification. Bidders shall provide bid security, and the successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds. Bidders must be licensed to perform work in Oklahoma. Bids must remain in effect for 120 days after the bid opening date, and the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities deemed to be in the City's best interest, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids. All contractors will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, creed, age, or disability. The Owner encourages participation by all firms qualifying under this solicitation regardless of business size or ownership.
