The objective is to enter into an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the replacement of fire hydrants and valves, and parts. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County seeks quotes for the replacement of existing fire hydrants and valves at project sites throughout Davidson County within the MWS service area. The work includes the removal and replacement of hydrants and valves under a multi-year contract funded annually, with quantities subject to change based on priority ranking and budget. Project sites may be added or deleted as needed. The contractor is responsible for the removal of existing fire hydrants and valves, returning removed items to MWS-SSD at 1450 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210, and handling all existing backfill material excavated during the project. There are no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantities of work for this contract. Purchases are made on an as-needed basis via Purchase Order, and no work is to be performed without a Metro-issued Purchase Order.
