Description

Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Berlin, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Town of Berlin is soliciting proposals from qualified, responsible firms with significant relevant experience to assist with Design and Construction Administration Services for the improvement of sidewalk access to Hubbard and Griswold Schools. The selected firm will provide services to construct new sidewalk segments, completing missing sections in order to better connect two elementary schools, associated parks, and recreational facilities to nearby residential neighborhoods. The purpose is to make Berlin a more walkable community that supports lifelong movement for individual health and well-being. Proposals should be submitted in accordance with the requirements and directions provided. Eligible vendors must have demonstrated experience in Connecticut within the past three years, a proven track record with similarly sized municipal governments, proper licensing in the State of Connecticut, and be in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Vendors must also have a documented internal control environment, business continuity plan, and not be in arrears or default to the Town regarding any obligation.
