The work comprises the removal, transportation, and disposal of approximately 1,100,000 gallons of sludge from the Holding Tank of the Village Sewage Treatment Plant and five sewage pump station wet wells. Bids should be made on the provided Proposal Forms, accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified or cashier's check for no less than 5% of the total bid amount as a guaranty for contract execution and bonding. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with bidder’s name and address, addressed to the Village of Buchanan, and endorsed as Proposal for Sewage Plant Sludge Removal. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and to award the contract as deemed in its best interest.
