Sealed bids, in triplicate, are requested for Lowell Area Schools – Lowell Food Service – Freshman Center. Bidders must be reputable organizations with at least five years of successful experience on work of this type and scope, possess appropriate licenses, have ample financial resources, and be registered with Labor and Economic Opportunity for payroll submission. Each bid must include a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement and be accompanied by bid security or a bid bond not less than 5% of the bid amount. Bid security may be a bond from a surety company rated A- or better or a certified check. Performance, Labor and Material bonds are required for contracts exceeding $50,000. Bids must be submitted in person or mailed, and late, faxed, emailed, or uploaded bids will not be accepted. A construction pre-bid meeting will be held, and bidders are encouraged to attend. Bid documents can be examined at specified locations including online and at plan rooms in several cities.
