Reference Number 0000426909 Huerfano County Economic Development Inc. (HCED) is seeking an architect or design consultant to prepare concepts for to reuse, redesign, and/or repurpose the following three sites in Huerfano County: The former Rio Cucharas Inn, located at 77 Taylor Blvd., Walsenburg, CO 81089. HCED seeks concepts for redesign and reuse of the pool building and surrounding area. The remainder of the Inn will be demolished. Three office suites located at 125, 127, and 129 W. 7th Street, Walsenburg, CO 81089. HCED seeks concepts for redesign and reuse of these suites which face 7th Street in Walsenburg. This site is next to a burned down former hospital that is the subject of a brownfield clean up grant that has been submitted and is awaiting an award decision. The former Lathrop Youth Camp located at 12 W. Highway 160, Walsenburg, CO 81089. This site consists of 5 main buildings and HCED seeks concepts for reuse and repurposing of the site.
