Renovation of an educational facility in Flint, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,200-square-foot educational facility.
The scope of work includes tearing out approximately 7,400 square feet of existing concrete at the Kearsley High School Auditorium Entrance, removing and hauling it off-site, adding stone base where needed, pouring back approximately 5,200 square feet of new sidewalk with 4,000 psi concrete with mesh, using up to 4 inches of 21aa limestone for new base fill (mixed with midrange water reducer), finishing the slab with a broom finish, sealing the slab for improved strength with 30% cure, removing island landscaping and tree, and topping with soil, seeding, and straw as needed. Work must be completed by Friday, August 7th. Proposers must submit one original and one copy of the proposal in a sealed envelope marked "PROPOSAL: Concrete for Kearsley High School Auditorium Entrance" to the designated address. No electronic submissions will be accepted. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and alternates, in whole or in part, and to waive any informality. Proposals must remain firm for 60 days from the bid opening.
