Commercial electrical services are sought to support ongoing electrical infrastructure repair, alteration, and maintenance requirements under a multiple-award, five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. The work will be performed on an as-needed basis through individual task orders ranging in value from just above the micro-purchase threshold to $125,000. Services include work on commercially rated electrical panels and disconnects, including three-phase high-voltage systems; minor conduit and wiring alterations through walls; installation, relocation, replacement, and servicing of battery backup and uninterruptible power supply systems; and installation, relocation, or upgrading of standard electrical fixtures such as outlets, switches, and lighting. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete awarded work, attend required site visits, and support timely execution of task orders. Typical task order performance must be completed within 60 days of award, excluding long-lead items, and contractors must commit to bidding on task orders within 48 hours of receipt. The government is seeking qualified local small businesses, with priority consideration for woman-owned small businesses and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and is open to industry recommendations regarding contract structure, NAICS codes, and PSCs that reflect standard commercial practices.
