Site work for a water / sewer project in Wooster, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of the installation of approximately 589 feet of 6" ductile iron waterline, including valves and hydrants, with approximately 6 water service reconnections. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and be accompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured OR provide a contract bond for 100% of the bid amount. Bidders must register for the plans through the city's Opengov website. Bidders must be registered for their bids to be considered. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wayne County and the City of Wooster, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders are required to use the forms which will be furnished on application.
