The University of North Texas System requests qualifications from firms for Professional Services to facilitate the Programming and Design Services for a new building to support the UNT College of Music on the Denton campus. The selected firm must have proven experience in programming and full design of high-quality university music facilities on university campuses and be able to implement a coordinated programming and design process aligned with the University's vision and goals. The firm must demonstrate the ability to manage a user process and provide accurate project estimates at all phases. The project delivery method is Construction Manager-at-Risk. The project is anticipated to provide approximately 60,000-100,000 gross square feet of space to replace buildings slated for demolition, with the new building primarily housing classrooms, rehearsal spaces, student practice rooms, faculty teaching offices, graduate teaching assistant studios/offices, and support spaces. If needed, renovation of existing facilities for relocation of functions may be included in the project scope. Bidders must submit a HUB Subcontracting Plan.
