The project consists of the replacement of a 4-way span wire-mounted signal system with a 2-pole/mast arm system. Specifically, the work includes installation of 4 pole-mounted mast arms on 2 new poles with concrete foundations, 8 mast arm-mounted signal heads, 11 mast arm-mounted signs, a camera video detection system, and replacement of the pole-mounted signal controller and cabinet with a ground-mounted system, including a battery backup. The contractor is required to maintain the current signal system and traffic flow until project completion. Bidders must obtain the full set of Bidding Documents from the designated issuing office and follow all requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award as provided in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. The project is subject to all applicable state and local laws and regulations, including payment of New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rates. The Town of New Hartford reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. QA date - 6-30-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents.
