Bridgeton Board of Education is seeking competitive bids for BID # FY 27-007 INDIAN AVENUE SCHOOL ADDITION & ALTERATIONS. Drawings and specifications in electronic format can be obtained from the Architect's ShareFile site after being added to the official bidders list. Interested parties must email their contact information to the specified contact to be added to the bidders list and receive access to the project documents. All bids must be sealed and physically delivered to the Office of the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary by the specified date and time. The Board does not accept electronic submission of bids. Contract Documents were prepared for the project by MMPF Architects, LLC. C. The work consists of constructing an approximately 18,800 S.F. one-story school addition which is to be connected to the existing school via a corridor link. The addition will include six general classrooms, cafeteria, kitchen, loading dock, receiving room, mechanical, electrical, and IT rooms, multi-fixture toilet rooms and related support spaces. An all-new voice evacuation fire alarm system & devices will be installed throughout the new addition and also the existing school. A new emergency generator will be installed along with upgrades to the existing electrical service. New water services and sanitary sewer will be provided along with an expansion of the existing gas service. A new onsite storm water management basin and associated piping will be installed; the existing asphalt bus loop / access roadway will be replaced and expanded to include a new loading dock; ex'g concrete sidewalks and curbs will be removed and new concrete walks and curbs installed; and a new sanitary service line with grease interceptor for the new addition, and a pump station serving the addition and the existing annex building will be installed.
