Question Due Date: June 15, 2026 5:00 p.m. The work to be performed under this contract includes furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment for the South Area Corporation Yard Administration Building Roof Replacement project. The work consists of replacing the existing PVC single-ply membrane with a Modified KEE Hybrid Roof System on approximately 75,000 square feet of roof. The work also includes replacing 121 skylights and replacing all penetration seals. Such other items or details not mentioned above that are required by these specifications or are required to complete the work shall be performed, placed, constructed, installed, or rehabilitated in accordance with the latest versions of the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) Standards and Specifications, the County of Sacramento Standard Construction Specifications, the project specific Contract Documents (project specific specifications and plans), and/or as directed by the Resident Engineer. Responses will be provided to questions submitted up until June 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, or cash from an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. Bidders may use their own Surety Bid Bond/Guarantee Form. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the Sacramento Area Sewer District, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Pursuant to the California Contract Code Section 22300, the contractor may, at its own expense, substitute securities for any money being withheld by the County to ensure performance under this contract.
