Reference Number 0000323652 The work consists of all tasks shown on the Contract Documents, including but not limited to: furnishing labour, materials, tools, equipment, hoisting, insurance, taxes, licenses, safety equipment, temporary power, general requirements, waste removal, competent supervision, office management, and all else necessary to perform microtunneling operations, including supply and installation of retaining walls, temporary concrete shafts, reinforced concrete pipes, grouting of temporary shafts, dewatering and conveyance to Water Treatment (if required), winter heating and winter-related maintenance works as required, as specified herein and per the contract documents, for the complete and proper execution of the works; supply and installation of water mains (temporary and/or permanent as required), connections of new utilities to existing and/or new services (as required), excavation and backfill of all utility trenches, dewatering and conveyance to Water Treatment (if required), and management of excavated soils, all as per contract documents; pressure testing, chlorination, and bacteriological testing as per contract documents; permits which may be required for completion of the work (road cut permits, sanitary discharge permits, closure permits, etc.); hard surface removals and temporary asphalt restoration and concrete sidewalk where required to facilitate removals or installation of new utilities.
