Site work and paving for a road / highway in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Bid proposals are invited for the Cupola Road Overlay project, which includes placement of a ½” 9.5mm Scratch Course (551 tons) and a 12.5 mm wearing course overlay (1,651 tons) along with other work as specified in the bid documents. Bids must be submitted via PennBID using forms provided on the platform. A mandatory pre-bid project review must be attended on one of the designated dates. Work completion is required by the specified deadline, with liquidated damages applicable for delays. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates are required. Submission requirements include a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent of the bid, PennDOT prequalification, workman’s compensation affidavit, anti-collusion affidavit, CDL compliance certificate, public works employee verification, and proof of insurance. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond, payment bond, and insurance certificate within 20 days of contract award. The agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive defects or irregularities.
