Base Bid: Replacement and upsizing of approximately 2,550 LF of 18-inch C900 PVC water main along Lancaster Rd. from Ferndale Dr. to N. Strahorn Rd. Paving of Lancaster Rd. from Ferndale Dr. to N. Strahorn Rd. All work shall be in accordance with the attached Contract Plans and Contract Provisions. Bidding documents may be viewed and/or downloaded free of charge at www.welchcomerplanroom.com. Hard copies of bidding documents can be ordered at the same website at the bidder's expense. In order to be added to the official plan holders list and ensure notification of addenda, bidders must register at the website. A Bid shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope plainly marked with the Project title, name and address of Bidder, and shall be accompanied by the Bid security and other required documents. If the Bid is sent through the mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope plainly marked on the outside with the notation 'BID ENCLOSED.' Bids delivered by facsimile machine will not be accepted. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference (including the site visit). A Public Works Contractor License for the State of Idaho is required to BID on this work. All bids shall contain one of the following forms of Bidder's security in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid and all add alternates, made payable to OWNER: a) Bidder's Bond executed by a surety company qualified to conduct business in the State of Idaho, b) Certified Check, c) Cashier's Check, or d) Cash. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
