As part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program intends to make investments in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure to support a nationwide network of 500,000 EV chargers by 2030. New Hampshire aims to deploy an interconnected network of public EV charging infrastructure to facilitate EV travel, maintain economic competitiveness, and encourage public-private sector collaboration. Qualified proposers are sought to install electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) and provide associated operations, maintenance, and management services for such equipment along specified corridors in New Hampshire, consistent with NEVI requirements and New Hampshire’s EV infrastructure deployment plan. Funding for this solicitation allows for reimbursement of up to 80 percent of eligible costs from NEVI funds, with the proposer responsible for at least 20 percent of costs from non-federal sources. This is a reimbursement program and only costs incurred after a written Notice to Proceed are eligible. Proposers may use subcontractors but remain solely responsible for contract compliance. The state may increase or decrease available funds, and there is no minimum or maximum award size per site. Proposals are confidential until contract approval. Awards depend on successful contract negotiation, and the state reserves the right to clarify, negotiate further, or withdraw the solicitation at any time.
