Site work and new construction of a stadium in Lake Worth, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a stadium; and for site work for a stadium.
The College has received an unsolicited proposal for a public-private partnership project involving professional soccer facilities on the Lake Worth Campus. The project includes the planning, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of a 6,000 to 8,000 seat soccer stadium and related facilities, to be located on approximately 10 to 12 acres at the southeast corner of the campus, subject to further evaluation, due diligence, applicable approvals, and consistency with the College's campus master planning process. The stadium would serve as the home for United Soccer League men's and women's professional soccer teams and could also be available for future College NJCAA soccer teams. The project would be privately funded by the proposer with a proposed budget of approximately $50 million to $60 million, and does not require capital funding from the College. Interested parties are requested to submit formal sealed bids/proposals. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
