The City of Peru, LaSalle County, Illinois will receive sealed bids for the Water Street Breaker Replacement Installation Contract. The plans and specifications are available for viewing with the City of Peru, and copies can be acquired from BHMG Engineers, Inc. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, satisfactory bid bond, or cash in an amount of not less than five percent of the bid. Each bid must be marked to identify the bid package contents and reference specification 3682 K002. The successful bidder will be required to: • Register as a bidder for this project. • Furnish in duplicate the following executed documents: Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bid Form, Bid Bond, Certified Check or Money Order, and any other required documents by the specifications. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Utility for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time. The City of Peru reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, and determine and accept the bid most advantageous to the Utility.
