Sealed bids are invited for furnishing all labor and material and performing all work necessary and incidental to the completion of the following bid packages for the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office Administration Building: Millwork, Membrane Roofing, Doors, Frames and Hardware, Coiling Doors, Grilles and Shutters, Framing, Drywall and Stucco, Flooring, Acoustical Ceilings, Access Flooring, Specialties, Walkway Covers, Fire Suppression, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Landscaping and Irrigation. Bids will be received via BuildingConnected. Pre-Bid Conferences will be held virtually and are not mandatory but bidders are encouraged to attend. Bid proposals must be sealed and plainly marked with the project name, bid package number and description, name and address of bidder, and time and date due. Bid proposal may be submitted via BuildingConnected or by email as one electronic (PDF) document. Zip files are not accepted. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Pre-qualification requirements: Interested bidders are required to complete Ajax Building Company, LLC's prequalification process, consisting of an Annual Prequalification and a Project-Specific Prequalification. Only bidders meeting pre-qualification criteria may bid. The subcontractor's financial condition must demonstrate that adequate fixed and liquid assets and equipment are available to properly perform the Subcontract. Bids may be considered non-responsive if the bidder has not completed the prequalification process. For contractors, businesses, and trades that are regulated by licensing, the bidder must be licensed in the State of Florida.
