Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Biloxi, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the construction of a 13,692-square-foot, 10-story above grade military facility; for site work for a military facility; for the demolition of a 4,370-square-foot military facility; and for paving for a military facility.

The project will construct a new Air Traffic Control Tower (3,983 SF) with Flight Simulator Facility (9,709 SF) adjacent to Base Operations. The ten-story facility will be constructed of drilled piling foundation, reinforced concrete wall panels, reinforced concrete floor slabs, and structural steel framing. The facility will include an elevator and a 500 KW backup generator. The construction must comply with Miami-Dade Hurricane codes. Facilities will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with the Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01, General Building Requirements, and Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-02, High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements. This project will comply with Department of Defense Antiterrorism/Force Protection requirements per Unified Facilities Criteria 4-010-01 and Unified Facilities Criteria 3-600-01, Fire protection. A new perimeter fence will need to be install around the new facility. The fence will be matching the existing "AMERISTAR" Impasse security fence (approximately 800 LF). Air Conditioning: 26 tons. The project includes all utilities, site improvements, pavements, and all necessary work for a complete and usable facility. The project will also demolish Building 4209 Air Traffic Control Tower (3,584 SF) and Building 4230 Flight Training Classroom (786 SF) (Total: 4,370 SF).
