Replace cooling tower and repair water reservoir tank. Sealed written bids are required and must be received in sealed envelopes with the bidder’s name, bid number, and closing date on the outside. Bids must be marked with the bid number and received at the appropriate office by the specified date and time. Electronic submissions are not accepted. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting to be considered. Unit prices must be guaranteed by the bidder. Workers’ compensation and general liability insurance coverage is required. Creek County must be listed as an additional insured for the scope of work. Proof of Insurance must indemnify the County against any liability to the extent allowed by law. Business Relationship Affidavit, Non-collusion Certification, and a 5% Bid Bond are required with the sealed bid. Payment, performance, and warranty bonds will be required upon contract award. Change orders must be approved by the Board of County Commissioners. Firm fixed prices will be F.O.B. destination. Bids are firm for 30 days upon opening and may be awarded to the lowest/best bidder as determined by the county. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, terminate the contract with written notice, or terminate for non-performance without notice. Purchases are not subject to state or federal taxes. The procurement process is open to all business owners regardless of race, color, national origin, or sex, with encouragement for minority and women-owned businesses to participate. Bidders must not discriminate against firearm entities or trade associations during the term of the contract.
