Belmont Road Culvert Replacement involves the removal and realignment of approximately 1,000 LF of Belmont Road to replace an existing substandard culvert crossing with a quadruple box culvert. The project also includes entrance reconstruction and the relocation of existing water and sanitary sewer lines. The work will include clearing, grading, excavation, asphalt paving, curb and gutter, guardrail, drainage structures, a quadruple cell box culvert, erosion & sediment control, signage, pavement markings, maintenance of traffic, adjustment of utilities and other items necessary for the completion of the work. Contractors must be on VDOT's current Pre-qualified list at the time/ date set for the opening of bids in order to be eligible for this contract. The CONTRACTOR will commence the work required by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS within Ten (10) calendar days after the date of the NOTICE TO PROCEED. Any and all questions and/ or requests for interpretation of bid documents must be submitted in writing to A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc., Adam Kendall, PE, (email: akendall@amtengineering.com) by 5:00 PM on July 10, 2026.
