Description

Demolition, site work and renovation of an educational facility in Walnut, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 29,469-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The Mt. San Antonio Community College District is seeking project-specific proposals to provide full service architectural design services for the renovation of Building 67 A/B. The project includes the design, construction, and equipment phases, encompassing full architectural and engineering services for the renovated facility. This involves approximately 29,469 gross square feet of educational space, including classrooms, laboratories, offices, meeting rooms, storage rooms, and other spaces as defined in the feasibility study. The scope further includes site work, infrastructure, demolition, coordination with adjacent facilities, and implementation of objectives from campus-wide plans including the Mt. SAC 2035 plan and the Mt. SAC Climate Action Plan, as well as the incorporation of wayfinding for the new building. The facility requires modernization of systems, utilities, technology infrastructure, and interiors to enhance safety, energy efficiency, operational reliability, and adaptability for future academic needs.
