General work description: The work to be done generally consists of rehabilitating the existing bridge by replacing the bearing pads at the abutments. Additional work items could include traffic control, spot blast/clean/paint repairs, concrete spall repairs, bridge deck treatment, and sidewalk and curb replacement on the Robert I. Schroder Pedestrian Bridge over Treat Boulevard in the Walnut Creek area. The Contractor must possess a valid Class A License at the time the Contract is awarded. The successful bidder must furnish a payment bond and a performance bond.
