Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

This Contract involves the supply of a system of shelves in a large concrete cylinder curing room. This is a very challenging and unique application where thousands of concrete cores are cured in a 100% humidity environment (water actively spraying throughout the room). The weight of the concrete samples that are being stored and the fact that the room is 100% humidity limits the type of material that can be used for the shelves. With the stipulation that material cannot support mold growth, the City needs a full 304 Stainless Steel or better system material. The City has determined that 35 14" D X 42" W X 86" H stationary shelves with 6 Tiers, appropriate enclosure accessories, and spares will be appropriate to our needs.
