Description

Provide construction, alterations, and urgent plumbing and gas fitting repair work, as and when requested, at Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert. Work may be carried out on a time and material basis with an upset figure based on established hourly rates and material costs, or by fixed price quotation determined from the outlined scope of work. Plans and specifications provided at the time of the call-up will serve as the standard source of contract information for complex work, while less complex work may be described by sketch and/or written description. The contractor will be assigned the duties and responsibility of prime contractor if the contractor is the sole contractor on site, or if two or more contractors occupy the same space and time. All site workers must meet the requirements of the Provincially Legislated Apprenticeship and Industry Training Act and be registered apprentices or certified journeymen, skilled, qualified, and supervised.
