Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Westport, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.

The Town of Westport seeks a design firm to perform a thorough review and provide drawings and any necessary specifications for repairs to the masonry piers within the Gymnasium space at Bedford Middle School and for repairs to the spalled section on the exterior South wall of the Auditorium and the base of the exterior masonry wall of the Cafeteria Platform space at Saugatuck Elementary School. The designer shall also provide a professional cost estimate based on their design. There is no formally scheduled pre-bid site review meeting for this work; however, interested designers should coordinate with the Facilities Department if they wish to visit the school sites. Once selected, the design firm will meet with designated Facilities staff to review the sites and extent of the design scope for the two locations. Proposals must include one sealed paper copy and one electronic copy on a flash drive, and must be submitted by the specified deadline. Late or incomplete bids will not be accepted. All questions must be submitted in writing within the timeframe set forth in the RFP Schedule.
