Reference Number 0000427329 It is the intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to select a Contractor for Façade Repairs for Ground Zero located Contractor is responsible for all building take-offs and project measurements. The successful contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, parts, tools, equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, and all other items necessary to perform the work required under this contract. Question Acceptance Deadline 06/24/2026 10:00 AM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes General Requirements - Contractors License Required - FOB Destination - Installation Required - Insurance Required - License Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % BASE BID SCOPE OF THE WORK A. The work described in the Contract Documents includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary and incidental to complete the following work: 1. CMU Wall Assembly a. Mechanically remove all residual mortar and existing masonry anchors from the existing CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit) substrate to ensure a flush interface. b. Perform tuck-pointing on all compromised or deficient bed and head joints using compatible masonry mortar. c. Cut the shell face from the CMU block as designated locations on the drawing for installation of new steel rebar reinforcement and structural repair grout to fill the cells. 2. Structural Steel Remediation a. Perform abrasive blast cleaning (SSPC standards) to remove all oxidation and surface contaminants from structural steel members. b. Apply a multi-coat rust-inhibitive protective coating system to remediate and prevent further corrosion. c. Execute supplemental structural steel installation as delineated in the design engineering documents. 3. Concrete Slab & Floor Systems a. Demolish existing slab-on-grade; prep subgrade and cast new reinforced concrete slab per the design documents. b. Install specified interior floor finish system. c. Remediate spalled concrete at the column capital/header using approved structural repair mortars to restore structural integrity 4. Building Envelope & Veneer AssemblyInstall new hat channels and exterior grade sheathing over the CMU wall assembly. b. Install new weather barrier and through wall flashings as shown in the design documents. c. Install new EIF with a thin brick veneer finish assembly in strict accordance with the project's architectural and structural specifications. Paint brick finish to match existing adjacent brick veneer. d. Decommission and remove existing egress door and frame assembly; dispose of debris off-site. e. Remediate the rough opening post-demolition, including the installation of new trim and architectural coatings to match existing finishes. f. Prepare structural columns by squaring surfaces to receive timber blocking for storefront integration. g. Install new aluminum storefront entrance along the ground floor level. 5. Electrical & MEP Integration a. Install electrical distribution wiring and high-efficiency LED luminaires within the ceiling plenum. b. Install new LED exit signs as required. 6. Fire Protection & Interior Finishes a. Apply spray-applied fire-resistive material (SAFRM) to the exposed underside of the first-floor structural deck. b. Install a Gypsum Wallboard (GWB) ceiling assembly over the enclosed ground floor area; finish and coat to specified aesthetic standards. Additional questions are due no later than 10:00AM (local time) on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Questions may be submitted online through the BidNet platform or by email.
