Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect (email swatchorn@rda-design.com). The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids. The Work of this Section includes requirements for the following 1. All of the Contractor's temporary work such as barricades, protective covers, dust barriers, temporary shoring, scaffolding, and entrances required to complete the work. 2. Blocking, nailers, plywood backers, miscellaneous wood framing, electrical backer boards, and other rough carpentry materials required by building code and/or highest industry standard to complete various installations within the Scope of Work. 2x wood blocking shall be installed within walls to support all case work, grab bars, wall-mount hardware, etc. 3. Blocking and nailers for roofing related work is listed in section 07 53 23 - Roofing (Adhered EPDM Systems). The work is estimated to cost $ 7,500,000 including the cost of all alternates The Project consists of new construction of a 7,100 sq.ft. one-story pre-engineered steel framed structure with a connector link to the existing school building. The building envelope consists of brick veneer, insulated metal panels, EPDM roofing and aluminum doors and windows. The interior consists of open shop spaces, bathrooms, storage and equipment mezzanine.
