Complete renovation and replacement of all internal components of the Site Effluent Treatment System wet tank to restore operational, structural, and life safety functionality and comply with regulatory discharge requirements. Work includes removal and replacement of the existing deteriorated aluminum grating and failed floor supports; installation of a new floor surface and structural members; replacement of inoperable and corroded confined-space ventilation blowers and internal heater; replacement of the seized stir/chop agitator motor, shaft, and associated mechanisms; installation of new pH monitoring probes and data signaling; application of epoxy lining within the wet tank; installation of new lighting and electrical outlets; and demolition and replacement of all explosion-proof electrical wiring and conduit. Additional work required to meet current regulatory requirements is included. The project is to be executed in accordance with requirements for technical approach, schedule, and price, with a period of performance estimated at 200 days from Notice to Proceed. Location: National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Campus, 100 Bureau Dr, Gaithersburg, MD 20899, USA.
