Renovation of an industrial development in Holland, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.
Project consists of interior and exterior improvements at Holland Bus Garage. Bids will be received for a multiple contract project consisting of the following prime contracts: EC-107 Electrical Contract and FIC-108 Fuel Island Contract. All potential bidders must self-perform a minimum of 20% of the work, providing 20% construction and/or site supervision as proof of self-performance associated with the contract for which they submit bids. Self-performance cannot include general overhead (such as submittals, RFI and RFP paperwork, construction meetings, etc.). Bids must be prepared in compliance with the instructions issued, with a bid bond payable to the owner in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after opening. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for new bids, and to waive informalities and irregularities in any bid. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. A performance bond, a separate labor and material payment bond, and insurance in a form acceptable to owner will be required of the successful bidder. The low bidder will be required to provide AIA A305 Contractor’s Qualifications prior to post-bid descoping interviews. Bid documents are available at designated plan rooms and to prime contractors through Avalon Document Services. A deposit per set is required, with refund provisions for documents returned in good condition.
