Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Wilmington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Provide maintenance dredging services for the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) channel between Onslow County and Brunswick County, North Carolina. Work includes removal of shoaled material that has accumulated in the channels to restore required navigation depths of 8 to 12 feet, plus an allowable 2 feet of overdepth. Dredged material will be placed on approved ocean beaches and in upland confined placement areas equipped with containment dikes and spillway systems. All dredging operations will be performed using a hydraulic cutter suction dredge, with adherence to specified environmental windows for beach placement activities depending on location.
