Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK (included but not limited to): Upgrades the existing softball, baseball, and track and field including new decomposed granite infield, new scoreboards, dugout, bullpen, backstop, portable bleachers, benches, synthetic track, overseeding of the football field, high netting, bleachers, goal posts, fencing, signage and associated utility and associated utility infrastructure and accessibility improvements. Total Project consists of Two (2) construction phases with a total contract duration of Four Hundred and Four (404) calendar days. Mobilization will consist of Thirty (30) calendar days. Phase 1 will be Two Hundred and Eight (208) calendar day, and Phase 2 will be of One Hundred and Ninety-Six (196) calendar days. Project Closeout will consist of Thirty (30) calendar days. Due to the accelerated timeline for this project, the contractor will be required to work 10-hour shifts, 6 days a week, including work on Saturdays. Phase 1 will comprise of the softball and baseball athletic field upgrades. To complete both fields by January 2027, each field will require a dedicated crew. Phase 2 will comprise of the upgrades to the track & field, with a scheduled completion in August 2027, before the start of the new school year.
