The services include preparation of construction contract and right of way plans for a safety improvement project on County Road 71, Spring Valley Road, in Madison County, Ohio with a project length of approximately 1.6 miles. The project limits are from State Route 142 to US 42. The project includes minor widening of CR 71 (Spring Valley Road) to reduce roadway departure crashes. The project also includes drainage improvements as required, rumble strips at critical locations, RPMs and realignment of the curve that doesn’t meet the design speed if the construction budget will allow. The cost of the overlay of the existing pavement will be borne by Madison County. The existing bridge just north of SR 142 will be replaced by a separate project. It is estimated there will be 40 parcels requiring acquisition. Right of Way Acquisition Services for Appraisal Review will be under a separate consultant agreement. Contract 1: Right of Way Acquisition Services Contract 2: Right of Way Acquisition Services for Appraisal Review Prequalification Requirements for This Agreement Are Listed Below. For All Prequalification Categories Other Than Financial Management System Evaluation the Requirement May Be Met by the Prime Consultant or a Subconsultant.
