Description

Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Somerset, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Somerset Water Service extends the invitation to bid for the labor and materials for replacing 2 HVAC package units, located on the rooftop of the raw water intake structure. The model number of the existing units is TCD120C40AAB, and the new replacement units shall remain TRANE. It is the bidder’s responsibility to arrange and schedule a helicopter service to lift the units to and from the rooftop. The existing lightning protection shall be replaced as is. For questions or site visits, contact Jon Hammond at 606-561-4626. The bids will be opened and reviewed at 9:00 am CST or 10:00 am EST on June 18, 2026, at The Energy Center, 306 E. Mt. Vernon Street, in the council chambers. The Somerset Water Service reserves the right to accept or reject any/or all bids.
