Electric Furnace Conversion-QTRS 63 & 17 Any questions related to this requirement must be submitted to the email no later than 9:00 AM Central Time, June 10, 2026 Disconnect, remove, and properly dispose of the existing fuel oil furnace and associated components. • All waste/ debris shall be removed by the contractor. Removal of all waste/ debris shall be completed in accordance with all state and local laws. • Cap or secure all utilities as necessary during removal operations. Furnish New Equipment • Complete a load calculation to determine size of furnace(s) needed Estimated sizing based on 600 sq ft per ton and 40 BTU per sq ft: House #17 (2,068 sq ft): Approximately 3-ton unit, 40 BTU, 1,200 CFM. House #63 (1,396 sq ft): Approximately 2.5-ton unit, 40 BTU, 1,000 CFM. Furnish one (1) new electric furnace of equal or greater capacity and efficiency than the existing unit for each house. • Equipment shall be new, unused, and suitable for the application. • Unit shall be compatible with existing building systems unless modifications are approved by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
