Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Malta, Montana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The scope of work includes the replacement of the Sun Prairie Road Bridge over Beaver Creek, 22 miles south of Malta in Phillips County, Montana. The project involves removing the existing 12' diameter corrugated metal culvert and constructing a new 116' span by 24' usable width single-span bridge. The new bridge will use precast prestressed concrete bulb tee beams on a driven pile foundation. Other improvements include removal of the existing culvert, installation of riprap, supply and installation of precast concrete bulb tee beams, supply and installation of steel H piles, construction of cast-in-place concrete pile caps and wingwalls, installation of guardrail and bridge rail, placement of structural backfill, roadway embankment, aggregate surfacing, signing, and other miscellaneous items. Interested contractors are encouraged to visit the site. Digital copies of the bidding documents are available online for a fee, and physical contract documents may be examined or obtained at designated locations. The documents may also be examined at various builders exchanges and plan centers.
